Terms of Service
Bubblerock LLC (BubbleRocks)
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you (the customer, "you") and Bubblerock LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as BubbleRocks ("BubbleRocks," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply to your use of https://bubblerocks.dev (the "Site") and to any services you buy from us (the "Services"). By requesting a quote, paying for, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
1. Our Services
BubbleRocks provides done-for-you IT services for small businesses in the United States. Our current packages are:
- Launch Kit — $49 (one-time): a one-page website, company email forwarding, and HTTPS setup. Domain registration and renewal fees are not included and are paid by you separately.
- Deploy Sprint — from $99 (one-time): deployment of your existing code or service, plus domain and HTTPS setup.
- Automation — from $149 (one-time): one defined workflow (for example, email or ticket triage). More complex work is quoted separately.
- Maintenance — $19/month (subscription): small changes and help with incidents. Larger changes are quoted and billed separately.
"From" prices are starting prices; the final price depends on the confirmed scope. Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable taxes or third-party fees. We may change our package prices at any time, but a price change will not affect a quote we have already confirmed in writing.
2. How a project works: quotes and scope
- Start by email. You email us your goal and deadline. We may ask questions to understand what you need.
- Written scope and quote. Before any work begins, we confirm in writing (email is fine) what we will deliver, the price, and the expected timeline (the "Scope"). Work starts only after you agree to the Scope and, unless otherwise agreed, pay.
- Out-of-scope work. If you ask for something outside the Scope, or something comes up that was not expected, we will tell you and quote it before doing it. We will not charge you for extra work you did not approve in writing.
- Timelines. Timelines are good-faith estimates. They depend on you providing access, content, and feedback on time, and on third-party services working normally. We are not responsible for delays caused by those factors.
- Delivery and acceptance. When we finish, we will let you know and show you the result. Please review it and tell us about any problems. A deliverable is considered accepted when you confirm acceptance, or 7 days after delivery if you have not reported a problem that keeps it from matching the Scope, whichever is sooner.
- Defect fixes. For 14 days after delivery, we will fix defects (things that do not work as described in the Scope) at no charge. This does not cover new features, changes in requirements, or problems caused by changes made by you or a third party.
3. Your responsibilities
- Access. You will provide the access, credentials, content, and information we reasonably need, and you confirm you have the right to give us that access.
- You own your accounts. Your domain names, registrar, hosting, cloud, email, Stripe, and other accounts should be registered in your name (or your business's name) and paid for by you. If we create an account for you, we will create it in your name where possible and hand over full control at the end of the project.
- Your content. You are responsible for the content, code, data, and materials you give us and for the content on your website and services. You confirm you have the rights to use them and that they do not violate any law or anyone else's rights.
- Backups. Unless backups are part of the Scope, you are responsible for keeping backups of your data, code, and content. We will take reasonable care, but we recommend you back up before we make changes.
- Lawful use. You will not use the Services for anything illegal, fraudulent, harmful, spam, or that infringes others' rights. We may decline or stop work that we reasonably believe violates this.
- Security after handover. After the project, we recommend you change any passwords you shared with us. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle credentials.
4. Payment
- Payment processor. Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms. We do not store your full card number.
- When payment is due. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, one-time services are paid in full before work begins. For larger projects, we may agree in writing to a deposit with the balance due on delivery.
- Additional work. Approved out-of-scope work is billed at the price we quote, and is due when invoiced unless we agree otherwise.
- Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales or similar taxes.
- Late or failed payments. If a payment fails or is not made, we may pause work, pause Maintenance support, or hold deliverables until it is paid.
- Chargebacks. If you have a billing problem, please email us first so we can fix it. Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Maintenance subscription: billing and cancellation
- Automatic renewal. Maintenance is billed at $19 per month (or the price shown when you subscribe), charged in advance on the same day each month through Stripe. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- What's included. Small changes (for example, text or image updates, minor settings changes, small fixes) and help with incidents affecting work we set up. Larger changes, new features, or projects are quoted and billed separately. We will tell you before starting if a request falls outside Maintenance.
- Response. We respond to Maintenance requests on a reasonable-efforts basis, normally within 2 business days. Maintenance does not include a guaranteed uptime or response-time service level unless we agree to one in writing.
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel at any time by emailing hongdihe@bubblerocks.dev (or using a customer portal link, if we provide one). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. We do not give refunds for partial months.
- Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the Maintenance price. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
6. Third-party services and fees
Our work often relies on third-party services such as domain registrars, hosting providers, Cloudflare, email providers, Stripe, and APIs. Those services are provided by their owners under their own terms, and their fees (for example, domain registration and renewal, hosting, or paid plans) are your responsibility unless the Scope says otherwise. We are not responsible for third-party outages, price changes, policy changes, account suspensions, or data loss caused by a third party. Third-party fees are non-refundable by us.
7. Intellectual property
- Your materials. You keep all rights to content, code, logos, data, and other materials you give us. You give us permission to use them only to perform the Services.
- Deliverables. Once you have paid in full for a project, you own the deliverables we create specifically for you under that project (for example, your website content and configuration, and custom code written for you). Until full payment, we keep ownership and give you a limited right to review them.
- Pre-existing and third-party materials. Deliverables may include open-source software, third-party themes, libraries, or tools, and general know-how, templates, and snippets that we use across projects. Open-source and third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses. For our general tools and templates, you get a permanent, royalty-free license to use, copy, and modify them as part of your deliverables.
- Portfolio. We will not list you as a customer or show your project publicly without your permission.
8. Confidentiality
We will keep non-public information you share with us (including credentials, business information, and data) confidential, and will use it only to perform the Services, except where disclosure is required by law.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
We will perform the Services in a professional and workmanlike manner, consistent with the confirmed Scope. Other than that and the 14-day defect-fix commitment in Section 2, THE SITE, SERVICES, AND DELIVERABLES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that any website, service, or automation will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or produce any particular business result (such as traffic, sales, or search rankings). Automated workflows can make mistakes, and you should review important outputs.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) BUBBLEROCKS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE; AND (b) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (FOR MAINTENANCE, THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify BubbleRocks against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs (including attorneys' fees) arising from your content or materials, your use of the deliverables, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Ending the relationship
You may cancel a project or subscription as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may stop work or end these Terms if you materially breach them and do not fix the breach within 7 days after notice, or immediately if continuing would be illegal or unsafe. When the relationship ends, we will hand over completed work you have paid for and remove our access to your accounts. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If a dispute arises, please email us first; we will try in good faith to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we cannot, any legal action will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction, except that either party may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court where it lives.
14. Other terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the written Scope for your project, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy are the entire agreement between us. If a written Scope conflicts with these Terms, the Scope controls for that project.
- Independent contractor. We are an independent contractor, not your employee or agent.
- Force majeure. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including third-party outages, internet failures, natural disasters, or government actions.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of our business.
- Severability and waiver. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
- Notices. We may send notices to the email address you use with us. You may send notices to hongdihe@bubblerocks.dev.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Changes will not apply retroactively to a Scope already confirmed. For Maintenance subscribers, we will give reasonable notice by email of material changes; continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept them.
